All members of Neuro London see private patients. We can help in both assessment aspects and treatment/ rehabilitation.
We prefer referrals from a neurologist or neuropsychiatrist and in cases where we have been contacted directly by the patient or GP we have been able to arrange the appropriate consultation. This ensures that we have all the relevant information that we need to help our patients.
A neuropsychological assessment can help in a number of ways – in assessing brain function and providing this information to neurologists and neuropsychiatrists to aid diagnosis.
Neuropsychological treatment includes consultation and rehabilitation to the patient and those close to them, to providing information and help with any cognitive, behavioural and emotional changes that may have occurred due to a neurological illness. Dr Khan-Bourne works regularly with those who have had a brain injury, dementia, stroke or a neurological illness such as MS. She is registered with all the major insurance companies and takes self-funders. Please do contact your insurance company to confirm cover. We are able to help navigate this process when necessary.
