Rehabilitation for those in Litigation – Information for Case Managers
We work with case managers to provide assessments and rehabilitation in the context of those within the medico-legal process. Our expertise is with adults with acquired brain injuries and we provide assessments, consultation and joint working with other professionals and direct neuropsychological rehabilitation. We have training and expertise in psychological therapies adapted for use with patients with cognitive and communicative problems (i.e.cognitive behaviour therapy, motivational interviewing) and cognitive rehabilitation. Private Patients
We provide neuropsychological assessment and rehabilitation. We prefer referrals from a neurologist or neuropsychiatrist and in cases where we have been contacted directly by the patient or GP we have been able to arrange the appropriate consultation. Occupational Health
Dr Khan-Bourne carries out neuropsychological assessments and produces reports for occupational health companies with regard to the neuropsychological aspects of returning to work after an acquired brain injury (e.g. a stroke, or a head injury)and these include advising on fitness to practice and disability issues.
